What a day. The 2026 Pittsburgh Recovery Walk brought together a record-breaking 3,132 registered attendees for a celebration of recovery, community, and hope. And you could feel it in the air! 🌟🙌

To every participant, organization, guest, and storyteller who showed up - YOU made this unforgettable. Every voice shared, every hand held, every step taken together is proof that recovery isn't just possible, it's worth celebrating loudly and often.

This community keeps growing, keeps showing up, and keeps inspiring us. Here's to next year being even bigger. 💜

Join us at 1201 Waterfront Place in Downtown Pittsburgh between 9 AM - 1PM for this free, family-friendly event. Everyone is welcome. The Walk steps off at 12:00 PM!

The chance of rain has gone down, but either way, we’re ready to walk! Come celebrate recovery, support our community, and help show Pittsburgh that recovery is possible. 🌦️ Rain or shine, we walk together.

The 2026 Pittsburgh Recovery Walk is happening THI

The 2026 Pittsburgh Recovery Walk is happening THIS SATURDAY, September 12, from 9 AM to 1 PM! 💜 We can’t wait to see you, so here’s everything you need to know to plan your day.

🎉 Day’s Schedule of Events: We have a full day packed with activities and events for everyone! Highlights include the 2026 Pittsburgh Recovery Award Celebration, an interactive photo booth, and inspiring speakers and storytellers. Read all about our featured guests at pghrecoverywalk.org/featured-guests/.

💜 Bring the whole family! Kids can enjoy airbrush tattoos, balloon animals, giant games, and a bounce house, while music lovers can groove to live music and a DJ. Don’t forget to explore our Resource Fair, featuring over 90 organizations dedicated to supporting recovery. To see what groups will be there, visit pghrecoverywalk.org/resource-fair-participants/.

👟 Walk Route: The mile-long walk through downtown will kick off at 12:00 pm, led by the Munhall Community Band. Please note that roads will close at 11:30 am, so plan to be in place early.

🚗 Parking & Transportation: For your convenience, several parking options are available near the event. However, we encourage attendees to use public transportation or bicycles whenever possible. If driving, you can choose between hourly or $5 flat-rate parking in lots adjacent to the event, with metered on-street parking also available nearby. For more details visit pghrecoverywalk.org/parking-transportation/.

🎶 And stick around after the walk! We’ll wrap up the day with a dance party featuring DJ Kelli Burns and Eagleburger Band before the event concludes at 1 PM.
